These are some common errors you may run into when playing XERA: Survival. Most issues are fixed by restarting your game, verifying your game files, updating steam, restarting your PC, and restarting your internet.
"ConnectionLost"
Usually this means your connection to the server has been lost.
There are a few reasons why this would happen:
- You have an unstable connection to our servers
- EasyAntiCheat has kicked you from the server
- The server has crashed or has unexpectedly shut down
Possible Solutions:
- Restarting your internet router
- Checking if you have any EAC Violation errors popping up
- Restarting your game client
- Restarting your PC
- Disabling your firewall, and allowing the game's process again
"Kicked from server"
This error means you have been forcibly kicked from the server.
There are a few reasons why this would happen:
- The server is rebooting and has kicked you in order to carry out the reboot
- The Private Server owner has kicked you
- A developer has kicked you from the game
- You have been banned from the game
"Failed to authenticate with Steam"
This error generally means there is an issue preventing us from authenticating your Steam account.
Possible Solutions:
- Restarting the game
- Restarting Steam
- Restarting your PC
- Checking for game updates
- Checking for Steam updates
- Disabling your firewall our allowing the game again
"Failed to connect to API / Master Server"
This generally means your connection to our master back-end failed.
There are a few reasons why this would happen:
- You have an unstable connection to our servers
- Your computer's firewall is blocking the connection to our servers
- Your ISP is blocking the connection to our servers
- Servers are currently down or are under maintenance
Possible Solutions:
- Restarting the game
- Restarting Steam
- Restarting your PC
- Checking for game updates
- Checking for Steam updates
- Disabling your firewall our allowing the game again
- Changing your DNS to another provider (Such as https://1.1.1.1/ or Google DNS)
